A few words to drones is a sentence addressed to the imagined and real drones that surveil. The sentence "Both metal and plastic have been fatigued" installed in the public space is meant to function as a warning, an observation, and a fact. Printed on material that provides shade and protection against the elements and which already existed in the context of Mardin, the work presents two sides: serving the function of providing shade for those looking up and speaking to those looking down.

The second rendition of the work was through a performance in Istanbul (October 2022). The words were printed on a kite, flown for a few moments.
